Public record
Trust is a system, not a slogan.
Here is the operating method behind our published picks: where inputs come from, when they should refresh, how results are graded, and exactly what a verified badge means.
Methodology
Publish first
A prediction is stored before a completed event can be graded.
Grade consistently
Final results are compared with the prediction and the market line used for grading.
Show the full sample
Wins, losses, pushes, and voids remain distinct outcomes. Some picks remain ungraded while results or required data are missing.
Data sources and freshness checks
| Source | Used for | Default freshness check |
|---|---|---|
| nflverse | NFL schedules, play-by-play, weekly stats, rosters, and injuries | Daily updates; our default freshness check allows 25 hours. |
| DraftKings DFS | DFS salary snapshots | Our default freshness check looks for a successful update in the past six hours. |
| Market feeds | Odds and other market data | Our default freshness check looks for a completed update in the past three hours. |
These checks flag data that may be delayed. They do not set update schedules or show live service status. Data providers can delay or revise updates.
Grading rules
We grade spread, moneyline, total, supported player-prop, and DFS records against final results. Pushes receive zero units. A void is not a win or a loss. Picks without final results remain ungraded; some picks with missing data also stay ungraded while we wait for that data.
Game picks are checked for grading throughout the day after final scores are available. Player-prop and DFS results follow separate grading schedules. Only picks without a result are graded. For game picks, if the captured line is missing, an available schedule or closing line may be used. A spread or total still missing its line more than seven days after the game starts is marked void.
Verified badge criteria
A model version earns the badge after successfully completing a current benchmark test with at least 50 picks. A model card is verified when at least one of its versions qualifies.
The badge means the benchmark met those checks. It does not promise future accuracy, profit, or that every version of the model is verified.
Honesty ledger: what we don’t do
- We do not accept or place bets.
- We do not hold stakes or pay winnings.
- We do not guarantee profit or future performance.
- We do not cherry-pick a model’s record: pushes and voids stay visible as separate outcomes.
