In Week 1 when these teams played, the Eagles offense relied heavily on Jalen Hurts scrambles to move the ball in critical situations. Tanner McKee doesn’t seem to have the same scrambling ability.
The Eagles need to read the movement after the snap and attack the space before that defender can get there. Tanner McKee will have to distinguish the initial picture from the coverage they actually play.The biggest issue, though, is the pass rush.
On "Monday Night Football" against the Philadelphia Eagles, he allowed his first two catches of the year for a total of 10 yards on the six times quarterback Tanner McKee threw Porter Jr.'s way on his 30 coverage snaps.
