Sports Betting Calculators
Eleven focused tools that do real math instead of selling picks. Built for bettors who care about expected value, vig, and proper bet sizing. Every formula is documented; every result is reproducible; the source is on GitHub.
No Vig Calculator
Strip sportsbook juice from any 2-way or N-way market.
Kelly Criterion Calculator
Optimal stake sizing — full Kelly, fractional Kelly, sensitivity ladder.
Parlay EV Calculator
Multi-leg parlay expected value with per-leg edge and correlation warning.
Odds Converter
American, decimal, fractional, and implied probability in one view.
Implied Odds Calculator
Single-side break-even probability and fair-price equivalent.
EV and Edge Calculator
Compare fair probability to market odds — edge, break-even, EV per dollar.
Arbitrage Calculator
Detect 2-way or 3-way cross-book arbs and compute the equalize stake split.
Hedge Calculator
Lock profit or limit downside on an open futures or live bet.
Bonus Conversion Calculator
Turn a free bet or sportsbook bonus into withdrawable cash via hedging.
Closing Line Value Calculator
Track CLV in cents and probability points — the leading indicator of long-run EV.
Middle Finder
Compare opposing spreads or totals across books and surface the middling corridor.
Teaser Calculator
NFL/NBA teaser break-even hit rate, fair odds, and EV at standard book pricing.
Want the model that produces the edge?
Calculators turn an edge into a sized bet. Shark Snip's marketplace of community-trained models is where the edge comes from — backtested NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL picks, player props, and DFS lineups, with full transparency on every prediction.
The decision stack
Every bet flows through the same four questions: what's the fair price? (no-vig, implied-odds, odds-converter), do I have an edge? (EV/edge, CLV), how much should I stake? (Kelly), and can I do better than a straight bet? (parlay EV, arbitrage, hedge, bonus conversion, middle, teaser). The tools below are arranged in that order — pick the one matching the decision you are about to make.
Solving those four questions correctly is worth more than 90% of paid handicapper products. They don't tell you which side to take — they tell you whether the side you've already picked clears the math. That's the dividing line between betting and gambling.
Recommended workflow
- Devig the book. Paste both sides into the no-vig calculator to recover the book's true probability estimate.
- Compare against your model. Push the fair probability and your true probability into the EV calculator. Below 1% edge net of vig, the bet usually isn't worth the variance.
- Size the stake. Plug the edge into the Kelly calculator and run quarter Kelly (0.25 multiplier) unless you have iron-clad reasons for more.
- For parlays, hedges, and bonus plays — use the parlay EV, hedge, and bonus conversion calculators before placing.
- Track CLV after the close. Run the CLV calculator on every settled bet. Sustained positive CLV is the leading indicator of long-run profit.
