Run the number. Check the math.
Twelve calculators for the numbers around a bet. Each one shows its answer first and the formula in one plain line. They do arithmetic on what you type. They do not pick for you.
Odds Converter
What is this price in decimal, fraction and break-even chance?
No Vig Calculator
What is the fair price once the book's cut is taken out?
EV and Edge Calculator
How far is my win chance from the price's break-even?
Closing Line Value Calculator
Did my price beat the closing price, and by how much?
Kelly Criterion Calculator
What stake does this edge and bankroll give, full or fractional?
Variance Simulator
How can results vary with the probability and price you enter?
Parlay EV Calculator
What is a multi-leg ticket worth, leg by leg?
Teaser Calculator
What hit rate does a teaser need to break even?
Arbitrage Calculator
Do two or three books leave a gap, and what split equalizes it?
Middle Finder
Do opposing numbers leave a window where both sides can win?
Hedge Calculator
What second stake evens out an open bet?
Bonus Conversion Calculator
What is a free bet worth after a hedge?
Looking for projections to evaluate?
Calculators show how inputs affect an estimated edge. Shark Snip's marketplace lists community-trained model projections — out-of-sample NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL picks, player props, and DFS lineups, along with available prediction records, out-of-sample windows, and error bars.
The decision stack
Every bet flows through the same four questions: what does the price imply? (odds converter, no vig), do I have an edge? (EV and closing-line value), how much should I stake? (Kelly), and what else can I do with this ticket? (parlay EV, arbitrage, hedge, bonus conversion, middle, teaser). The calculator cards are grouped by those decisions, then by ways to compare books and reduce exposure.
These four questions don't tell you which side to take — they tell you whether the side you've already picked clears the math. That gap between price quality and process quality is where most recreational losses accumulate.
Recommended workflow
- Devig the book. Paste both sides into the no-vig calculator to compare probabilities after removing the listed margin. These are estimates, not known chances.
- Compare against your model. Push the fair probability and your true probability into the EV calculator to see how those estimates compare with the entered price.
- Size the stake. Plug the edge into the Kelly calculator and run full, half and quarter Kelly scenarios to compare their calculated stakes.
- For parlays, hedges, and bonus plays — use the parlay EV, hedge, and bonus conversion calculators before placing.
- Track CLV after the close. Run the CLV calculator on every settled bet to record how its price changed. CLV does not predict your return.
